Joining
-
Who Can Join – Any boy interested can join as long as he is at least 11 years old or has passed the 5th grade. We invite anybody interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on to join. Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the organization. We have meetings once a week and go on campouts about once every month. There will be other tasks assigned that may take up some of your free time. You must understand that Scouting is a commitment, and much time and effort will be expected from you.

How Can You Join – You can come to a troop meeting. To join we need a completed application and membership and registration dues for the first month. Please contact us for more information and a copy of the registration forms. If you want to attend a couple of meetings before deciding, feel free to do so.

Benefits of Joining – There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, and we hope to further our cause. You can learn many different practical skills, such as knot tying, tent pitching, etc. There are various merit badges you can earn, and you can focus your choices based upon your interests.
